Apex Coaching

Developed a clean brand identity for a climbing coaching concept I created.

For my self-initiated project Apex Climbing, a coaching service offering training plans for boulderers and climbers, I designed a logo that visually captures upward progress. The arrow shape symbolizes growth and reaching new heights, while the silhouette of a climber adds a dynamic, personal touch. I created multiple variations for different backgrounds, ensuring the design remains versatile across print, web, and merchandise. This project allowed me to explore logo design, refining both my creative and technical skills in brand identity development.

Poster Design

Created a poster from scratch to promote workshops at Grip Bouldergym.

Starting with a blank canvas, I designed a poster to promote Grip’s workshops, my first real experience creating a print design. Initially, I struggled with composition and style until I drew inspiration from film posters, which helped me understand visual hierarchy, color use, and typography. Through multiple iterations and feedback from colleagues, I developed a poster that works effectively both up close and from a distance, while maintaining Grip’s brand identity. This project expanded my skills beyond video and photography into graphic design and print, showing my ability to communicate concepts visually in different media. The final poster (the middle one)  now proudly hangs throughout the gym!

Digital Display Project

Designed and implemented Grip’s new in-hall digital screen system. From concept to launch.

During my internship at Grip, I helped with the creation of a digital communication system using the 'Playsignage' platform, displayed on a new screen in the entrance hall. The goal: keep visitors informed about route updates, events, and opening hours, while making it visually engaging. One standout feature is the display of rotating climbing holds, filmed in a custom lightbox setup to create the effect of floating in a clean white space. I worked from initial concept discussions with the marketing manager through to designing slides, refining layouts for readability and style, and integrating these visuals.
Along the way, I learned to balance creative vision with technical limitations. After a month of development, the display went live and now updates twice a week with new routes, event announcements, and other visitor information, a project I’m proud to see in use!
